Web Application Acceptable Use Policy

 

Purpose: The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is to ensure the appropriate use of Drone Mission Checker and its associated services provided by JonezWorks Inc. / dba DronesWorks. This policy outlines the guidelines and rules governing the use of the web application to maintain security, integrity, and availability while promoting ethical and lawful conduct.

 

Scope: This policy applies to all users of Drone Mission Checker, including but not limited to customers, subscribers, visitors, and any other individuals or entities accessing the web application.

 

Policy:

 

1. Authorized Use: Users are authorized to use Drone Mission Checker for its intended purpose, which may include accessing content, submitting data, communicating with other users, and utilizing features provided by the application.

 

2. Compliance with Terms of Service: Users must comply with the terms of service and any other agreements governing the use of Drone Mission Checker. Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of access to the web application.

 

3. Data Protection and Privacy: Users are responsible for protecting their personal information and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations when using Drone Mission Checker. The collection, storage, and processing of personal data by the application must be done in accordance with the privacy policy provided by JonezWorks Inc. / dba DronesWorks.

 

4. Security: Users must take appropriate measures to safeguard their accounts and prevent unauthorized access to Drone Mission Checker. This includes but is not limited to using strong, unique passwords, enabling two-factor authentication where available, and promptly reporting any security vulnerabilities or incidents to JonezWorks Inc. / dba DronesWorks. As of 5/5/2024 Drone Mission Checker does not require an account to use, but reserves the right to require an account in the future.

 

5. Prohibited Activities: The following activities are strictly prohibited when using Drone Mission Checker:

   - Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

   - Circumventing security measures or engaging in any form of hacking or cyberattacks.

   - Uploading or sharing malicious software, viruses, or other harmful content.

   - Engaging in activities that violate the rights of others, including but not limited to copyright infringement, defamation, or harassment.

   - Using the web application for illegal or unethical purposes.

   - Drone Mission Checker may not be used for financial gain by customers, subscribers, visitors, and any other individuals or entities accessing the web application. Except by JonezWorks Inc. / dba DronesWorks who reserves the right to do so in the future.

 

6. Content Guidelines: Users are responsible for the content they submit, share, or publish on Drone Mission Checker. Content must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and community standards. JonezWorks Inc. / dba DronesWorks reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or is deemed inappropriate. Drone Mission Checker does not store/save MRK files. The application will log date time, MRK filename, number of JPGs expected, and visitors IP address. This data will be used to determine usage patterns and guard aginst abuse.

 

7. Consequences of Violation: Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access to Drone Mission Checker and its services. JonezWorks Inc. / dba DronesWorks reserves the right to take legal action and pursue remedies for any damages caused by violations of this policy.

 

8. Hold Harmless Clause: By using Drone Mission Checker, users agree to hold JonezWorks Inc. / dba DronesWorks, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to legal fees, arising out of or related to their use of the web application, violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, or infringement of any rights of another party.

 

Acknowledgment: By using Drone Mission Checker, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.

 

Policy Review: This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to reflect changes in technology, business practices, or regulatory requirements.
